JCL Wizard is useful with a number of scenarios e,g,:
-You are not familiar/comfortable with writing JCL on the fly,
-Want a quick test case,
-Avoid syntax errors.
-Can be integrated in Eclipse or Visual Studio IDE's via the external tools option.
Usage:
Download the tool, double click on the included JCLWizard.exe to start the tool..
Follow the labels "Step 1", "Step 2", "Step 3" to Finalize or Submit your JCL Job.
With Step 1. select the template from the Job Type drop-down list, change relevant text-boxes to suite your test case.
Go To Step 2 and click the "Add Step" button, repeat these steps as required to make your JCL Job.
When ready go to Step 3 and Click Finalize, click Submit if you know that you have a local JCL region ready and started.
To add custom JCL steps use the included CustomStrings.txt, modify that as required. This file should be placed in same directory where .executable resides.
